Funny that Star Tours specifically prohibited audio too.
I assume this means that they are letting guests on this ride - and yet I haven't heard of any reports of people being able to experience it yet.
Major - Just Cast previews. I don't believe Disney restricts Guests from photography during soft openings (aside from any prohibitions there may be against flash photography, or video as with the new Lincoln).
I was able to preview it with a CM couple and their family. It's an excellent addition to Disney California Adventure.
